“Where We Stand,” hosted by We, Ceremony and Beya Jimenez, will highlight the women of color mayoral candidates and their visions for a just City of Boston. The forum will follow a round-robin format with the opportunity for candidates to share opening and closing statements. Through this format, young women of color voters will hear from the candidates on issues of importance to their communities such as racial justice, economic justice, environmental justice, immigration, transportation, education, and housing.

"Fuck, It Feels Good" is a generative writing challenge inspired by Audre Lorde's "The Uses of the Erotic" and the things we need to say to our bodies. It is an explorative letter writing challenge on thinking and speaking about pleasure. This workshop will be facilitated by lois-soto lane minah (all pronouns), writer, translator, and immigrant flop. Write with us on Saturday, August 1st at 11:00am ET!

This e-book features Chardline Chanel-Faiteu, Zubeda Khan, and Lydia López, three women of color in Boston who are changing our communities. You'll also get the chance to hear from them in a fireside chat.

 Kick off Women's History Month with Contemporary Women of Color Making History, an evening panel presented by We, Ceremony in collaboration with the Cambridge Public Library. Learn from the personal narratives and journey of three local women of color (Sonia Espinosa, Amma Marfo, and ChrysanthemumTran) who are changing Boston and beyond. Through this conversation, we aim to inspire and mobilize our guests to take actionable steps to combat the different "isms" that challenge their lives

This panel will discuss racial, gender, and economic disparities in tech. Each panelists will take us through their journey to get to where they're at and offer solutions to what women of color need to thrive in the industry.

This talk will focus on the personal narratives of Iliana and Mu, as women of color from El Salvador and Taiwan, respectively, and how storytelling can be used as a tool for healing and validation, while empowering communities and uplifting voices rarely heard from, but urgently needed

We, Ceremony is proud to present our first Gallery Talk. Join us on Thursday, May 12th for an evening filled with real stories from women of color. We will be exhibiting photographs of past features followed by a panel discussion led by influential women of color.
