Surviving under capitalism and within the boundaries of the non-profit industrial complex is challenging and money is needed to thrive. We believe in building economic institutions that foster and create opportunities for each person to live a dignified life across race, gender, and class. With that, we also have to be real about the wealth gap and the systemic and oppressive disparities among black and brown communities. Money is not an easy thing to talk about, but in an effort to build stronger communities, we want to come together this new year and build our economic resiliency as women of color.
Join We, Ceremony and Dinero Chronicles on Thursday, February 27th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm as we take control of our dinero narratives while exchanging knowledge on all things debt, savings, and credit scores! The evening will kick off with a fireside chat with Zuhaly Ramon, Founder of Dinero Chronicles, followed by small group discussions led by financial experts. Be prepared to bring all your money questions!
We’ll be joined by financial experts, Raydania Peña and Jenny Geffrard, who will guide us through small group discussions.
This event will be centered on women of color. We will work towards empowering our communities to live intentionally and to unpack what financial wellness means to us individually and collectively.
